Dollar Investors Made The Highest Real Profits In February

- US dollar yielded the highest monthly real profit with the rates 4.19 percent and 4.70 percent, when reduced by Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) and Consumer Price Index (CPI) respectively, in February, according to the Rates of Real Profits Created by Means of Financial Investment Index data, released by Turkstat, on Tuesday.

When reduced by D-PPI, the monthly real profit rates of gold (ingot) and euro were 2.58 percent and 1.79 percent, while investors of stock exchange, Government Domestic Debt Instruments (GDDI) and deposit interest lost by 4.18 percent, 0.96 percent and 0.79 percent, respectively.

When reduced by CPI, the monthly real profit rates of investors of gold (ingot) and euro were 3.08 percent and 2.28 percent, while investors of stock exchange, GDDI and deposit interest lost by 3.71 percent, 0.48 percent and 0.31 percent, respectively.

Gold made the highest real profit with the rates at 14.01 percent when reduced by D-PPI and 13.33 percent when reduced by CPI, quarterly, while investors of euro lost by 0.51 percent and 1.10 percent when reduced by D-PPI and CPI, over the same period.

Dollar made the highest real profit with the rates at 12.15 percent to D-PPI and 9.91 percent when reduced by CPI, bi-annually, while investors of euro made the highest loss with the rates of 4.37 percent and 6.28 percent respectively, over the same period.

The annual real profit rates of stock exchange were 31.07 percent and 25.64 percent, when reduced by D-PPI and CPI respectively, while investors of euro made the highest loss with the rates of 10.22 percent and 13.94 percent over the same period.
